Madelaine Edmonds is a Yoga Therapist, a Certified Sound Bath Practitioner, a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) and an Interdisciplinary Artist and Musician based in Los Angeles, California. She is a graduate of the Master of Arts in Yoga Studies program at Loyola Marymount University (LMU). She is also a graduate of LMU's Yoga Therapy Rx™ program (YTRx-1000), the only university accredited program of its kind. Throughout the Yoga Therapy Rx™ program, she received specialized training from a wide range of Western medical professionals and Yoga Therapists at the top of their fields, including Dr. Larry Payne (Samata International), Dr. Matthew J. Taylor, Dr. Amy Wheeler (C-IAYT President), and Dr. Richard Miller (iRest). Madelaine travelled to India in 2018 to study Yoga Therapy with world renowned Master Teachers at the International Center for Yoga Therapy Education and Research (ICYER) and at Kaivalyadhama (KDHAM). She refined her administrative and clinical Yoga Therapy skills at Venice Family Clinic's Simms/Mann Health and Wellness Center in Los Angeles. Madelaine is now a candidate of the Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine (MTOM) degree at Emperor's College. Passionate about music from a young age, Madelaine attended the Vocal program as a recipient of the Outstanding Vocal Performance Scholarship and earned a degree in Music Composition (Songwriting), from the Los Angeles College of Music in Pasadena, California. Integrating sound and vibration with therapeutic yogic techniques, Madelaine aims to create a space for students to achieve deep relaxation, reduce stress, and allow for restoration of the mind, body and spirit.
