    I teach yoga to a woman who came to me recommended by her doctor. She has a history of back pain. We have used lengthening and widening to support her in the asanas. She loves her yoga practice. She has increased her strength, her knowledge of practices to support her when stressed or in pain with variations as she needs throughout her day. With Covid and increased time at home reading or on the computer, she is increasingly aware of the support of her yoga practice, including thinking of lengthening and widening for her health and well being.
