With our stressed out and uptight lives, we all need some way to relax and enjoy life. Yoga is an important tool for reaching relaxation. Sequencing classes that promote breathe to movement and a glorious shavasana at the end of the practice does the trick.
I use a guided meditation at the end of class that is included with corpse pose in my yang classes. In my yin classes I lead students in a meditation at the beginning of the class and at the end. The meditations are usually tied to a theme or yama/niyama.
