The distinguishing feature of Prime of Life Yoga of moving in and out of a posture before holding it was quite new to me. I really appreciate the deeper sense of body awareness, exploration of the body being fluid, and the opportunity to experience movement prior to holding the pose. I think that students will find this exploration and approach helpful in creating more body awareness and recognizing holding patterns and possibly areas to be more mindful of as they practice.
This was new to me also prior to participating in the classes. It does offer a sense or preparation for where the student/client is going to go or what they are shooting for prior to the hold. That can offer or give a positive mental accomplishment.
