I have found the learning of the Bhandas particularly interesting in the way that Larry is teaching it as it seems a little more accessible for most people. I feel like the Uddiyana described as the belly lock can make a world of difference for people trying to learn the Mula bandha. In POLY we are already bringing awareness to breath and movement and this encouraging the lower belly to contract. From her we can introduce Uddiyana as a continuation to the contraction of the belly. Once this is established the Mula band has may be easier to access and the combination of the two is so important for all of us.
